It's not as easy to get to as many islands in the Pacific Island, but after transferring through nearly Tahiti, you find yourself in a tropical paradise that is far beyond any other island resort you can find in the world. While there are a few other places you can get an over the water bungalow, what makes Bora Bora special is the protected lagoon waters surrounding a mountain view. All for a somewhat similar distance as Hawaii from the west coast of the United States. While it isn't the cheapest vacation, it is worth it to celebrate a special occasion like a honeymoon.
