ROAD

Prior to visiting Missouri, the best description I could give is that I had no expectations. Nothing was apparently negative, but nothing particularly drew me to go. On a cross country road trip, I made a point of spending time in both St. Louis and Kansas City and it was the state from that drive that I'd most want to go and spend more time. It got off to a good start when I stopped at a Steak 'n Shake (you can't go wrong on a road trip getting a burger that has melted butter poured over it), was interesting in St. Louis, and Kansas City became on of my favorite places as I left.
